A workshop style class heavily influenced by Vinay Kumar’s Prana Vashya Primary Series from Mysore, India. Beginning with a warm up flow, each class works towards a peak posture. All levels are welcome.

Great for anyone new to yoga or to ashtanga. Learn about breath, bandhas, drishti, sequencing, and what Krishnamacharya calls "correct practice".

This class is for anyone new to yoga. This class explores classic yogic breathing techniques, basic yoga postures, and introduces techniques to connect your mind to your body.

Beginners welcome. Pre-registration required in order to attend. Mysore classes teach Ashtanga yoga in the traditional method of K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Students new to Mysore practice are required to make a one month commitment to attend in order to ensure proper learning in the traditional method. Drip sweat onto your mat as you breathe and move in this vigorous class designed to leave you exhausted, rejuvenated, and happy. Based on Ashtanga Yoga, the original vinyasa & power yoga that came to the West from India, this class doesn't keep as much structure of the series as our Ashtanga Vinyasa class.

Jivamukti $18Purchase required to enroll

Jiivamukti is a unique practice fusing together the fundamental elements of Ashtanga yoga (conscious breath, drishti, self-awareness) with Vinyasa Flow (each posture seamlessly flowing to the next via thoughtful sequencing) along with uplifting music, reference to spiritual texts, and meditation. Established in the 1980s by artists in New York, a Jivamukti practice is rigorous and challenging, but equally creative, expansive, and fun.

A slow flow to warm the body followed by stretching, compression and sustained pressure to tight connective tissues and muscles. A compliment to a rigorous practice, giving time and attention to over and under worked parts of the body. This class welcomes all levels.

Workshops

Intro to Core Energetics Workshop Free

Explore how the body influences emotions, and experiment in this space with sharing your experience in a bonded, confidential group setting. This workshop is designed to go deep into your psyche. These groups are designed for one-time participation, but you may come more than once if desired. Workshops are all 3 hours long, with the first hour being guided core energetics exercises, and the remaining two hours consisting of simple, introductory group work. These workshops are designed to prepare you for deeper, commited, monthly group work that will begin September 2017 and run once per month through May 2017. If you are interested in committing to the 9 month group in September, please discuss with us in person.

We recommend that you follow up this workshop with either a core energetics session (please discuss in person after the workshop to schedule), or a session with your therapist.
